Brief introduction:
This qualification covers all media sectors including publishing, interactive, audio, moving images and can be used to further studies in fields such as graphic design, journalism and web design just to name a few. It is primarily concerned with the television and radio industries in theory and in practice.
A minimum of Grade 4 in English Language or Maths.

Assessment
This qualification is assessed by completing written exams and coursework projects. It is the equivalent to 1.5 A-levels which means you can choose whether to go into employment, continue on to university or become an Advanced Apprentice.
Students can expect to explore topics such as media representation, target audiences, getting a job in their chosen field and the structure of the industry. You will develop a range of personal qualities and attributes essential for success in higher education and employment.
