You will follow three courses. This could be three A-Levels, a minimum of two 1.5 or single Vocational courses, or a combination of these two. Most students study either 3 A level courses, 2 Vocational Courses and 1 A level or 3 Vocational Courses. All students will study Social Justice – one lesson per week.
All courses last for two years. A-level courses will be examined externally at the end of the second year. Vocational courses consist of Internally assessed and externally moderated Coursework units and externally examined units which could happen throughout the course. There will be ongoing internal assessment throughout Years 12 and 13 which will form the basis for discussion on progress towards target grades and predictions for the final outcomes.
